Some of the varsity students have admitted having found it hard to get along with some annoying landlords of the estate.

Here are some of the most annoying landlords' characters students hate;

Locking gates as early as ten o’clock

Most university students prefer arriving in their houses very late in the night. Some of them are up to fulfill their intentions before retiring to bed. Others, especially during the weekend, attend gigs, house parties, visiting their girlfriends and raving to almost 3 am the following the day. If a landlord is strict from their estate, they would prefer to visit their friend’s houses where the landlord never bothers about their behaviors.

Restricts more than two students from living the same house

Students would always wish to save some money especially meant to gather for the rent. They would try as much as possible to live as many as they can so that they share costs when it comes to paying rent. Surprisingly, seven students specifically the male can live in bed sitter costing four thousand shillings comfortably in a bid to save rent hence they end up paying at least Sh500 each a month. This means if their parents gave them like Sh4,000 they end up saving Sh3,000. However, some landlords are against the trend which makes it hard for the students.

Payment of rent in time

Some students in universities and colleges wish to gamble with money meant for rent first before paying for the house rent. Many instances have been reported that varsity students go an extra mile gambling with the money and fail to pay rent. Since students are 'slippery' to handle, if they fail to pay in time their houses attract more padlocks on their doors or risk ‘deportation.

Female get restricted by a landlord to bring their boyfriends

Most males get disadvantaged by this restriction since they are forbidden to visit their female counterparts. Majority of landlords fear theft cases and would always want to keep the privacy of the estate. This restriction pisses male students so much.
