Speaking to the journalists after the crackdown on Tuesday, Assistant County Commissioner, Turbo Sub County Michael Ang'ayo said they had arrested 40 brewers linked to the making and selling of the beer.

"We have been working with the police and the chiefs to arrest brewers and so far we have destroyed more than 5,600 litres of Kangara and 2,000 litres of busaa," he said.

He said they will not stop the crackdown until the county is free from illicit brew beer business.
