"The rehabilitation will be constructed and fully equipped through the CDF funds. We have done our research and so far we have proved that Kinyago has the highest number of our youths who are abusing drugs and also the illicit brews.

We want to rehabilitate them and also show them that drugs only destroy their lives and not moulding them in any way", Moses Kuria said.

He went ahead and urged all the youths withing Gatundu South to ensure that they all shun away from drugs and alcohol.

"This is a very bad habit and if our youths continue like this, am sure they will not even have their own families since they will not be in a position to even maintain themselves.

As leaders we should all fight this vice by ensuring that we guide our youths and also give them the relevant assistance that they may require", Moses Kuria said.

Kuria went ahead and said that the rehabilitation centre will be maintained by the people of Gatundu south and that it will be theirs."I can upon all the leaders here and also the church and residents that this is your property and you should be in a position to maintain it", Kuria said.
