Kenyans should expect an end to the rains that have been hitting the nation from today (Thursday), with Friday and Saturday set for sunny intervals, the weatherman has said.
According to the meteorological department, most parts of the country will experience sunny intervals, with some parts of the coast set for the last rainfall today, before the rainy intervals resume.
Kenya Meteorological Department (KMD) Deputy Director Bernard Chanzu said the temperatures are expected to remain high, with Nairobi and the Coast leading.
“Mainly sunny intervals are expected to prevail from Friday to Sunday over most parts of the country. Moderate rainfall is expected over the South Eastern, Coast and Central parts of the country on Wednesday and Thursday,” he said quoted by the Star.
The prediction comes as a relief to residents of urban centers, who have been finding it hard leaving for their daily operations due to heavy overnight rains.
The weatherman now wants Kenyans to brace for warm days over the period in focus. The rains are expected back on Monday, with the sunny intervals set to end on Sunday.
