Cherangany Member of Parliament Joshua Kutuny has claimed that there are cracks within the government.
Speaking at the parliament buildings in Nairobi, Wednesday, Kutuny said that recent twist of events in the government clearly shows that all is not well.
He said that Uhuru and Ruto are not reading from the same script.
Kutuny further noted that Ruto has never made a point of visiting Mau forest to determine whether all is well amid looming eviction whereas Uhuru has been keen on the issues affecting coffees farmers from his region.
He said there is no way the leaders can claim that all is well when Uhuru and Ruto cannot agree on certain issues.
“Can we agree that Jubilee is a coalition of two groupings & each came with its own challenges; one was led by Uhuru and came with coffee, SMEs issues & the other came with Mau, maize issues. I have never seen DP Ruto waking up in the morning to visit Mau people,” Kutuny said as quoted by Citizen TV in a tweet.
The MP further said that the government should ensure that the residents of Mau are settled before they are asked to leave as it seeks to conserve the forest land.
