Kesses Member Parliament Swarup Mishra now says that mob justice should be done to those involved in corruption.
He says this will reduce the cases of corruption that has been rampant in the country leading to the loss of public funds.
"The remedy to corruption in this country is that those involved in looting public funds, mob-justice should be done to them in broad day to act as an example to those with similar intentions," said the Kesses first term Jubilee MP.
He spoke to the press during the Jamuhuri day celebrations at his constituency on Thursday.
"I want to request the youths across the country that if your father is corrupt come on the streets and expose him because this country belongs to you and the future of the country is in your hands. Don't wait for these old men who are stealing and have no good intentions to the country," added the Kesses legislator.
He further said that you cannot be a father who steals from his children and goes to plead that he is sorry.
Mishra said when one has stolen public funds stern actions should be taken against him, this will also give justice to the people of Kenya.
Kesses legislator further warned politicians defending corrupt individuals saying that they stole the public funds alone and should carry their own cross regardless of their political or tribal affiliations.
This comes after the Nairobi governor Mike Sonko was recently arrested and charged for embezzlement of public funds.
