The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) revealed on Monday that Sarah Wairimu Kamotho will remain in custody until September 26, 2019.

In a tweet, the ODPP noted that this is to allow for time for investigations into what caused the death of Tob Cohen.

"Sarah Wairimu Kamotho to remain in custody until 26/9/19 when she takes plea in relation to the murder of her husband Tob Cohen..@ODPP_KE led by DDPP Nicholas Mutuku applied for more time to allow for postmortem & mental assessment of suspect," said ODPP.

Sarah, who is a prime suspect in the case will also undergo a mental assessment before taking a plea. 

Justice Jessy Lesiit indicated that a postmortem will be done on Tuesday. Both Sarah and the deceased's doctors will be present during the postmortem. 

More so, the court asked all the three parties involved not to disclose any information pertaining to the case to the media. 

The media was also barred from covering the investigations into Tob Cohen's murder case. 

Sarah is being accused of colluding with other people to kill her husband. 

Mr Cohen's body was found dumped in a septic tank at his Kitisuru home in Nairobi on Friday, last week.
