Thirdway Alliance Party Secretary General Frederick Okango has once again drummed up support for the party's Punguza Mizigo constitutional amendment push.
The party under its leader Ekuru Aukot has been pushing for changes to among others, slash the elective representation by more than half and abolish Deputy Governor slots.
Speaking on Monday, he rubbished the rival referendum push which seeks to expand the executive arm of government on grounds that the same will bring about a feeling of inclusivity.
Okango pointed out that inclusivity will only come when Kenyans get an equal share of resources and not accommodation of more individuals at the top level.
"The true meaning of inclusivity is when every Kenyan in this country gets the equitable share of the national resources; it is not about 5 or 6 people eating on behalf of the community," he said on Citizen TV's Day Break.
This comes at a time when Punguza Mizigo bill is facing a complete war from a section of other politicians led by ODM leader Raila Odinga, who is leading the rival push.
Raila has therefore asked Kenyans to shun Punguza Mizigo, predicting that the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) will propose another referendum after collecting Kenyans' views.
