The party has scheduled November 3rd as their final moment to appease voters from the city constituency, with ODM party also pulling strings.

According to Korir, who is running the campaigns, the party expects the head of state to make formal appearance, a move that could further cause confusions in the political world.

Uhuru endorsed Mariga's bid recently, a move that sparked tensions within the ruling party, with a number of members vowing to support ODM candidate Imran Okoth.

Youth and Gender Affairs Chief Administrative Secretary Rachael Shebesh claimed that Deputy President William Ruto's team sneaked Mariga to State House, a statement that was dismissed by Secretary General Raphael Tuju.

"I was personally at State House and it's me who took him there. The president endorsed Mariga. He's our Jubilee party candidate," Tuju said.

Deputy President William Ruto has been campaigning for Mariga, using his Karen official residence as meeting point. The strategy has irked ODM party.

Should Uhuru attend the final rally, he's likely to also encounter ODM leader Raila Odinga, who is scheduled to hold a rally at Joseph Kang'ethe grounds the same day according to George Aladwa.

“We have demarcated the constituency in a way that will enable us to reach every door in Kibra. This is an ODM constituency and the strategy we have deployed will enable us to recapture the seat," Aladwa said.

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has scheduled November 7th as the date for the polls. Other candidates include Eliud Owalo, Ramadhan Khamisi among others.
