Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka on Friday formally endorsed Ford Kenya party in the Kibra by-election scheduled for November 7th.
The Wiper party did not field a candidate in the polls, which will see seven people compete in the race to succeed Mr Ken Okoth who succumbed to cancer.
Already, ODM has endorsed Okoth's brother Imran Okoth with Jubilee party going for McDonald Mariga. Amani National Congress fielded Raila's former aide Eliud Owalo.
On Friday, Mr Musyoka agreed to back Mr Ramadhan Khamisi, the Ford Kenya candidate. He is replicating support Ford Kenya gave them in Embakasi South.
"The two agreed on a formula to have the Ford Kenya candidate endorsed officially on a later date with the Ford Kenya brigade expected to attend a pro-wiper event tomorrow," read Ford Kenya's statement.
"Kalonzo acknowledged the support Ford Kenya party gave to its Embakasi south MP during the by election. Wetangula assured the Wiper party of victory in the Kibra byelection."
ODM has already accused Ford Kenya and ANC of fake friendship with Secretary General Edwin Sifuna recently insisting that NASA coalition is dead.
However, Wiper Vice Chairman Mutula Kilonzo and Tongaren MP Eseli Simiyu accused the ODM party of using Kibra polls to deny them political parties funds.
Ford Kenya MPs Richard Onyonka and Ferdinand Wanyonyi accompanied Mr Moses Wetangula when he hosted Kalonzo Musyoka on Friday.
