In an exclusive interview on KTN News’ PointBlank, Waiguru revealed that the leaders from the region are ready to work with the African Union Special Envoy after President Uhuru Kenyatta completes his second and final term in office.

She said that the region is open to any form of an alliance that will benefit the people once their political kingpin leaves power.

She also reiterated that the region will want to be considered on the government if the leaders endorse the Former Prime Minister for the position of the commander in chief of the armed forces when that time comes.

“If it is Raila, he should know that the region will want a piece of his government,” Waiguru as quoted by Standard.

The county boss and Raila were great enemies when the latter accused the former Devolution CS of masterminding the loss of millions at the National Youth Service (NYS).

The two leaders buried the hatched after the handshake. Waiguru also revealed that they discussed a wide range of issues when they met including President Kenyatta’s succession.

“We discussed some serious politics. Of course, we first settled the history we had together,” Waiguru added.
