The Kenya Premier League (KPL) round 4 matches kicked off over the weekend and there were a lot of goals and excitements.
Here are some of the players that impressed in the various fixtures:
Goal keeper
Benjamin Ochan (AFC Leopards)
In AFC's 4-0 win over chemelil, Ochan was the man between the sticks as he held on to keep his third clean sheet in a row.
Defenders
Erick Juma (Kariobangi sharks)
The defender captained sharks in the slum derby against Mathare and despite his work-rate they only managed 0-0 draw.
Soter Kayumba (AFC Leopards)
Played an important part as AFC won their second match on the bounce and will be pleased with the clean sheet.
Sikhayi Dennis (AFC Leopards)
Sikhayi was solid at the back and managed to keep Chemelil strikers quiet as his team cruised.
Bernard Ochieng (Wazito FC)
The defenders influence in Wazito’s back four was one to keep an eye on, as he marshaled the team to a 2-0 comfortable win against Zoo FC.
Midfielders
Tresor Ndikumana (AFC leopards)
The Burundi international made his mark on the pitch as he guided his shot home to seal victory for Ingwe.
Luke Namanda (Tusker fc)
Looked dangerous whenever he had the ball at his feet. Was on the score sheet as his side claimed all three points in a 3-1 win against Sofapaka.
Daniel Waweru (Ulinzi stars)
The talented attacking midfielder was at his best as his side came from behind to beat Sony 3-1. Waweru was directly involved in Ulinzi’s two goals scored from a free kick and provided an assist.
Strikers
Oromchan Villa (Western stima)
Scored the all-important goal as his team edged out Kisumu All Stars stars 2-1 to continue with their unbeaten run.
Enosh Ochieng (Uliinzi stars)
Really did well against Sony, he never stopped running. He capped the performance with a great goal for Ulinzi.
John Makwatta (AFC Leopards)
The striker was at the double as AFC cruised past Chemelil on Sunday.
