The Harambee Stars have issued a battle cry to their supporters across the country ahead of their clash with the Sparrow Hawks of Togo.
The battle cry is reminiscent of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) slogan in the recently concluded Kibra by-election in which the Raila Odinga-led party triumphed.
"Bedroom Under Attack! Kenyans Defense forces, kujeni Kasarani tudefend Bedroom yetu on Monday!! #Twendekasarani#Tujazekasarani#Harambeestarsnimimi#Simamanastars#Harambeestars#Togoislate, " the national football team Twitter post read.
The match against the Togolese will be staged at the Moi International Sports Centre (MISC) on Monday from 7:00 pm.
Tickets for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier will be going at 200 shillings regular and 500 shillings VIP.
The national team will be hoping that the battle cry will translate into a packed-to-capacity attendance so as to give them maximum home advantage.
A win for the home side will be a great boost as it seeks to participate in the next edition of the AFCON tournament to be held in Cameroon.
Should they make it to Cameroon, it will be the first time in the history of Kenyan football for the national team to make to the continental showpiece for the second consecutive time.
Participation in the 2019 AFCON in Cairo, Egypt came after 15 years.
