1. Drink clear fluids
It is advisable to drink more water so as to loosen the mucus in your chest. This will help you cough the mucus out and make you breathe easily. You can try drinking diluted fruit juices, herbal tea and clear soups. They also loosen the mucus and make you breathe easily.
Try avoiding things like alcohol and caffeine as they may exacerbate the condition.
Saltwater has antibacterial properties and therefore can give you a relief by loosening and thinning the mucus in your trachea and nose.
You can try it as well. In a glass containing warm water, dissolve 1 teaspoon of salt. After gargling, spit it out. For betterment, do this several times every day until you are relieved. However, if the condition persists, try seeing a doctor.
3. Ginger
This herb has been used for centuries to combat various diseases. It has inflammatory properties against respiratory infections. You can resort to chew it or add to food.
4. Tumeric
This one has also the capacity to ease bronchitis. The spice has antiinflammatory properties that are significant in easing bronchitis symptoms. You can either incorporate it to your diets or chew it raw.
