In a tweet on Saturday, Osoro noted that they had accepted the name and have no regrets over the same.

The lawmaker asserted that his Tangatanga colleagues had subdivided themselves into three groups.

Osoro said that their counterparts from Western Kenya were at Mumias grounds addressing locals on socioeconomic issues affecting the region.

He noted that another team were with their patron Deputy President William Ruto at Kapsigilai in Cherangany constituency.

Further, the MP observed that the team that had attended the Mombasa BBI consultative rally did their best to prevent name-calling of their leader, DP Ruto.

"We ACCEPT the 'TANGA TANGA' tag bila REGRETS. Our crew was in MUMIAS as seen on 1st photo, Dr.WSR was in CHERANGANY then we REDUCED the MENTION of the name 'RUTO/SUGOI' in Mombasa," tweeted Osoro.

Leaders from the Western part of Kenya allied to the DP led by former Kakamega senator Dr Boni Khalwale and a number of MPs were at Mumias grounds for a forum aimed at addressing economic issues of the region after the last week's one was thwarted by the police.

DP Ruto was accompanied by some lawmakers to denominational prayers in Cherangany constituency.

Senator Kipchumba Murkomen led the Tangatanga section of Jubilee to Mombasa for a BBI consultative rally.
