Speaking on Sunday during an exclusive prime time interview aired on K24 Television and hosted by Anne Kiguta, Mr Kabogo appeared to take issue with the manner in which Governor Nyoro was dispensing his gubernatorial rallies.

He appeared not particularly impressed by reports that Governor Nyoro had called for some people to be thrown out of a rally.

During the Kitui Building Bridges Initiative (BBI), the Kiambu governor reportedly joined Governor Ngilu in calling for the ejection of Gatundu South member of parliament Moses Kuria.

"Nyoro needs to be careful. I saw him throwing people out of rallies on his first day of work, " the former county boss said.

The new governor was installed on Friday after the impeachment of his boss Ferdinand Waititu by the Senate on three counts.

In his speech after taking the oath of office, Nyoro warned those who were in the business of insulting the head of state President Uhuru Kenyatta.

He will steer the county for the next 3 years, and has promised to rid Kiambu of the corruption that defined the leadership of his embattled predecessor.
