Actor cum businessman Brian Ogana popularly known by his Maria stage name Luwi has revealed that what he makes from his business is enough to make him enjoy life.
In an interview with Kenyans.co.ke, Luwi said; "I make a substantial amount. I make enough that I can be able to go home and enjoy life."
Luwi came to the limelight after Citizen TV's drama series, Maira started streaming on the channel.
The series has gained huge followers basing on what Kenyans say about it on social media, and Luwi is one of the key characters in it that has won Kenyans' hearts with his acting skills.
Just like his good looks and clothes wardrobe say, the actor's side hustle involves making and selling clothes, and mark you, some of his customers are Members of Parliament.
You can imagine how much he takes home by having that kind of buyers.
In his business situated on Imenti House within Nairobi's CBD, they receive orders from clients and deliver what is needed.
"On the side, I have a sartorial business. This entails a service in which a client comes with their cloth material of choice, gives us their specifications and we knit a suit or cloth of their choice. I can't mention names but I have dressed a lot of people, Members of Parliament, gospel singers among others," Luwi said.
He runs the business together with one partner, a woman, and they have so far employed seven people, a delivery person, a marketer and tailors.
Luwi only visits his business on weekends and noted that he draws his inspiration from his mother.
