Highly celebrated Ugandan socialite cum businesswoman Zari Hassan has hinted rewarding her husband, 'King bae' with twins through surrogacy.
Zari who enjoys the huge following from Kenya and East Africa at large has been making headlines since her breakup with Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz.
The boss lady who recently married another man in a private wedding has said that if she does not naturally reward her husband with twins, then she will opt for surrogacy.
Speaking on her recently started Ayo TV series, the mother of five said that even though carrying a pregnancy with the kind of job she is focused on is hard, surrogacy was one of the options in place.
For starters, surrogacy is basically an arrangement, often supported by a legal agreement, whereby a woman (the surrogate mother) agrees to become pregnant and give birth to a child for another person(s) who is or will become the parent(s) of the child.
In this case, Zari and her husband will donate an ovum and sperm respectively, which will then be fertilized and be given to another woman to carry the pregnancy for nine months, until giving birth.
"Am still healthy, very healthy, very fertile, so I don't know, but if I don't then it will be through a surrogate (nisipo mpa lazima itakuwa kwenye surrogate)," said Zari in a video shared on YouTube on 6th August 2019.
This was after she was asked about the twins-reward she has suggested for her man.
She added that she might end up with at most ten babies in her life.
