Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has sounded a warning to Nairobi County CEC for Education, Finance chief officer and the county Disaster Management boss.
Sonko has stated that he will fire these members of his staff after it emerged money put aside for the burial of the Precious Talent School pupils that died in the late September tragedy had not been disbursed.
Taking to his Facebook account, Sonko vowed to fire them if the allegations were found to be true.
"I swear by the name of the almighty God if this speaker in the attached video is talking the truth and not politics played by the area MP then I can see more staff going home," reads part of Sonko long message.
The city boss had pledged to help cater for the funeral arrangements of the eight students who died after a building collapsed at Precious Talent School.
This is not the first time Sonko will be firing his staff members.
Not long ago, he suspended 16 county officials from the Urban Planning Department following the tragedy at Precious Talent School.
On various occasions, Sonko has declared total war against corruption and any form of impunity in the county.
