Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot may not like the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary General Edwin Sifuna but there is something he likes about him nonetheless.
Speaking during a panel discussion on NTV's AM Live on Tuesday, Mr Cheruiyot revealed that he admires Edwin Sifuna for the ODM secretary general's clarity when articulating ODM issues in public.
"I do not like Edwin Sifuna, I do not like his juvenile antics but I admire the precision with which he prosecutes matters ODM, " the ODM
"Despite the fact that we are in the moments of the handshake, you see Edwin Sifuna every other time he goes before the public it is so clear in his mind that we are a political party and we have competitors who are Jubilee, " Senator Cheruiyot said.
His rare expression of admiration for the ODM SG comes in the context of an uproar in Jubilee over claims that the governing party's secretary general Raphael is working to undermine its unity.
Senator Cheruiyot is among Ruto-backing legislators who want Raphael Tuju to be sacked from the party.
During the panel discussion, the Kericho doubled down on his criticism on the Jubilee SG as he questioned Tuju's ability to steer the ruling party.
