The Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) has released a list of major problems facing the country.
The list has compared the problems in three years of 2016, 2017 and 2018.
In a tweet on Tuesday, EACC revealed that corruption has been a top major problem in all the three years.
''Corruption top of major challenges facing the country at 49.4%, followed by unemployment (36.8%), poverty/famine (27.2%), high cost of living (16.9%), bad infrastructure especially roads and lack of electricity (13.4%), unfavorable economic conditions (11%)&insecurity (10.2%),'' read EACC's tweet.
Despite the fact that President Uhuru Kenyatta declared his fight against corruption a top priority, this has continued to harm the nation.
The head of state had noted that everybody will take his or her own cross if linked to any corruption case.
Addressing the nation during this year's Madaraka Day in Narok, the President noted that he will use everything to win fight against corruption.
“The war against corruption is a war we are undertaking with no joy, but one that will continue with no reluctance. I will not stop until the house we inherited from our forefathers has been swept clean. Then, the Plenty within our Borders can be secured for current and future generations,” he said.
