Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi on Sunday opened about his financial status.
In an interview with K24's Anne Kiguta, Mudavadi said that he is a fairly wealthy person but he remained coy in revealing his exact net worth.
The Luhya political kingpin said that he has enough to take care of his needs as well as those who matter in his life.
Kiguta's attempt to press him down so that he can reveal his exact net worth did not bear fruits as he maintained his stand.
"I am fairly wealthy. I am not a poor person. I can meet my obligations but I don't quantify myself in terms of numbers," he said.
During the same interview, Mudavadi said that he supports the push for a referendum before 2022. He said that the National Super Alliance (NASA) wanted a change in the constitution and he still holds the same stand despite the opposition losing to President Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto. '
He said that there is a need for reforms in the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) before the next general elections.
"There were issues within the 2010 Constitution which we thought as Nasa needed to be changed. That is subject to other parameters such as sufficient resources, sorting out IEBC," he said.
