In a tweet on Wednesday evening, the outspoken legislator questioned why Kennedy Kalonzo and Oburu Odinga were handed parliamentary seats yet Mariga is being denied the same.

"I come from a most unequal country where Kennedy Kalonzo (@skmusyoka's son) & Oburu Odinga (@RailaOdinga's brother) are gifted free parliamentary seats in EALA but Mariga (a hustler's son) is being denied a chance to COMPETE for a seat in Kibra! The Hustler Nation will speak," said Boni Khalwale.

Khalwale's question comes after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) disqualified Mariga's candidature in the Kibra by-elections.

On Tuesday, Mariga accompanied by Khalwale and other leaders had gone to the IEBC offices to present his certificate and also be scrutinized.

However, they were met with a huge shock after the electoral body revealed that Mariga's details don't exist in the voters' register of 2017, thus disqualifying him.

Jubilee Party leaders came out to lament this action blaming it on IEBC.

They vowed that it won't stop there as they will appeal for the same.
