Uasin Woman Representative Gladys Boss Shollei has revealed her new stand on Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) debate ahead of a Rally in her region.
Speaking during AM Live interview at NTV on Monday morning, Shollei said her people need real issues to be addressedsaying BBI rally in Eldoret will be different from what was seen in Mombasa.
"The people of Uasin Gishu are asking if BBI doesn't have solutions for their challenges with maize, their challenges with their milk prices, unemployment of their youth, the harassment of bodaboda by police, the fact that they close the forest and there is no alternative source of energy, the fact people cannot pay their medical bills, the fact that people cannot pay school fees if even if you give them bursaries. So people are concerned with those small issues," Shollei said.
"If you came to Uasin Gishu and start dancing, I think people will walk away. People want opportunity only the people of Uasin Gishu to speak and say their views," she added.
