This was disclosed by Archbishop Timothy Ndambuki who spoke at AIC Bomani on Monday.

"As the church, we will send 200 as to the school so that we can help in the construction of the toilets so that the students sitting for their national exams are not inconvenienced," said Ndambuki.

"I am appealing to everyone to lend a hand so that the school can settle early," he added.

This is after the school toilets caved in on Sunday evening claiming the life of a form three student and injuring another.

Ndambuki said that there is a need for investigations and repair of schools with dilapidated structures that may pose danger to students.

"There are old schools which were constructed over 40 years ago which we schooled in the colonial era and need to be looked into. This is because when there is a climate change, it won't be toilets that will collapse but also the old structures," he said.
