Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has compared Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi, popularly known as Sonko to US President Donald John Trump.
While welcoming Sonko to join his Wiper Party, Kalonzo said that the Nairobi Governor thinks outside the box, just like the US President.
The former vice president compared the two leaders, while being hosted by Tony Gachoka on KTN’s Point Blank Show on Wednesday night.
“Governor Sonko is very much like Donald Trump. Haven’t you heard today that Donald Trump was actually the first sitting president of the United States to visit North Korea,” said the Wiper Party boss.
“You need to think out of the box, and I think governor Sonko tries to think out of the box,” he added.
“Can he be a major addition to Wiper?” asked Gachoka. “Of course he is always welcome. He is presently a Jubilee governor and yah, he could come to Wiper,” responded Kalonzo.
He also took time to assure his supporters that he will be a formidable presidential candidate in 2022, ready to beat anyone who will come up against him in the presidential race.
“I will be a formidable presidential candidate, and one who is poised to win come 2022,” he insisted.
