Juli Briskman, the woman whose photo flashing a middle finger at the convoy of President Donald Trump, has earned herself a new gig, months after she was sacked for her disrespectful gesture.

US media outlets reported that she had prevailed in her bid for local office in Virginia.

She will now be the supervisor for the Algonkian District in Loudoun County, Virginia.

 Briskman announced her foray into politics in 2018 after she was sacked.

."Today, I am filing my organizational papers in a bid for local office in Loudoun County, Va. Loudoun deserves transparency in government, fully funded schools & smarter solutions to growth," she said of her bid in 2018. "It's time for a change."

Briskman made a point of leveraging on her fame in her bid for local office with the viral photo becoming a central part of her campaign.

She said that she tried to flip over the president of the United States of America because she was angry at Trump for playing golf given the difficulty that the country was going through then.

“I just got angry,” she said at the time. “I lifted my arm and started flipping him off. I started thinking, You’re golfing again when there is so much going on right now.”
