Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu has called on legislators allied to Dp Ruto to work with colleagues in Parliament in ensuring that money is allocated for implementing the BBI report.
In a post in his official Facebook page, Wambugu acknowledged the change of tune by the lawmakers towards the report despite expressing a dilly-dally position over the same initially.
However, the Dp Ruto's fierce critic called on the Tanga Tanga MPs to join their counterparts in Parliament in budgeting for the money to be spent in implementing the report now that they have expressed commitment in supporting it.
The vocal lawmaker called on the DP's allies to notify the public of their commitment to support the allocation of funds to finance the process of the implementation of the document at a consultative rally in Mombasa.
"Now that TangaTanga supports the BBI process we need to hear them assure Kenyans they will support us in Bunge to allocate money for the BBI. We need them to make this assurance publicly in Mombasa on Saturday." read the post.
Legislators allied to the deputy president William Ruto also known as Tanga Tanga held a press conference on Tuesday to articulate their position on the recently released BBI report.
They vowed to attend all the scheduled rallies aimed at seeking views from Kenyans from henceforth.
