Citizen TV Journalist  Joe Ageyo is the latest to make remarks in the BBI tussle. In his view, he has rubbished claims from the BBI sycophants for saying that the BBI will be a solution for this country's political and socio-economic welfare.

Speaking during the news gang show on Thursday night, Ageyo is for the view that the current Kenyan raw material- Constitution of 2010- is the gospel to go by. He says there is no way the BBI will act as the saviour of this nation especially for a country with no reading culture.

"The BBI will not be the savior and it is not all that it contains or not contain. As a matter of fact, the BBI is a great document and under the circumstances one with immense potential to bring the country together. This will not help. As Kenyans, we don't read documents and we don't live by then."  he said

He went ahead and cited incidences that leaders got together in the name of "uniting Kenyans" but ended up with documents that to date still remain like that, documents!  He went ahead to highlight the handshake that now gave birth to a new document that if not too keen will still be put in the cabinets and locked away.

The veteran journalist went on to describe how the documents just carried vocabularies that would give Wanjiku the hope for change yet it would not change a thing. Reason? Dependance on the same people that crafted it to interpret it.

"Am tempted to start with the independent constitution that called for a bicameral assembly. After the handshake, we got national accord that gave birth to various documents. I have in mind the question if the electoral system is a sign of bad manners and  we need to try changing the game," he said

Ageyo challenged Kenyans by history. In that, for once, Kenyans need to read the said BBI report as many times as possible to avoid regrets in years to come.
