Former West Mugirango MP James Gesami has hailed the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga saying it has borne the BBI report.
Speaking on Thursday during his visit to Magwagwa Cooperative Society, the former MP said that the formation of the BBI is good for the country.
"I would like to echo the ones above whom sat down and came up with an idea to create a task force that will help Kenyans from all parties to know and understand that they belong to one nation," he said adding "this will unite the ruling party and the opposition party because it will reduce the friction between them as far as leadership is concerned."
He asked the residents of Magwagwa to support the implementation of the BBI and ensure that it goes for a referendum.
"Let us support as a whole the BBI report to be passed so that it can be reflected in the Constitution for our benefit as Kenyans," added Gesami.
