Marianne Kitany has maintained that she was married to Meru Senator Mithika Linturi.
In a court session, Kitany said that the senator cheated on her with other women. She also said that the senator denied her conjugal duties for the period they stayed together.
Kitany told Milimani Commercial Court Chief Magistrate, Peter Ngare that she lived a life of pain and heartbreaks because of the frustrations the man gave her all this while.
She also said that one of the women sent him a porn video that he kept in his phone all this while with her knowledge.
“I filed for divorce because Linturi was cheating on me,” Ms Kitany told the court, adding: “He slept with other women in town," Linturi would come home late, and did not want to give me my conjugal rights,” said Ms Kitany.
The complainant also said she has sacrificed a lot to be with the senator only to be dumped at the end of the day. She recalled how she gave the mother for of the senator a Nissan X trail but their love affair never lasted.
She also said that she had spent a lot of money to ensure that she bonds with the lawmaker but at the end of the day she was frustrated. The hearing is ongoing, the troubled Senator is expected to field his responses to the tens of allegations by the disgruntled lover.
