The Orange Democratic Movement party brigade will on Sunday hold a major rally at DC Grounds just two days after securing a major victory in the Kibra by-election.
ODM candidate Imran Okoth was declared winner of the Kibra mini poll having scored slightly over 24,000 votes, double of his main challenger McDonald Mariga.
However, the victory is now facing condemnation from a section of leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto, who accuse the party of deploying hooligans to intimidate voters.
The ODM party confirmed the Sunday's rally saying: "Let's meet at (Tukutane) DC Grounds today at 1pm."
The party's Director of Communications Philip Etale also confirmed the rally, adding that Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati will be present.
Arati, who is serving his second term, has been accused of unleashing goons in Kibra, a claim he has denied vehemently.
"Things that make me happy... anyway let's meet at (tukutane) DC Grounds today (leo). And by the way Hon Simba Arati will be there. Whoever is seeking an apology from him should come to DC grounds and get it there (amuulizie hapo)," Etale said.
A section of MPs led by Kimilili legislator Didmus Barasa and Kapseret's Oscar Sudi were flushed out of Kibra on Thursday allegedly by ODM goons.
Deputy President William Ruto has accused Raila Odinga of sponsoring violence. On Saturday, he demanded for an apology from Odinga.
