Deputy President William Ruto has been assured by a section of elected MPs from Gusii region that he is welcome to Gusiiland anytime.
Led by Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i, West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi, Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose and Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi, they welcome DP Ruto at the Kisii National Polytechnic
DP Ruto was in the vote-rich Gusii region to preside over a graduation ceremony at Kisii National Polytechnic.
Tong'i urged DP Ruto not to be tired to visit Nyamira or Kisii counties.
"Your excellency, we love you and I want to assure you that we will not be tired of hosting you. Always feel free to visit us anytime you want," Tong'i.
Kemosi on his part dismissed DP Ruto's critics saying Ruto is a hardworking leader.
"As leaders from the Gusii community, we like associating ourselves with hardworking people. Please continue coming back to Gusii region," Kemosi stated.
The vocal Ford Kenya allied legislator maintained that DP Ruto's trips to the vote-rich region will yield fruits come 2022.
Mose assured that they won't abandon DP Ruto in his bid to become the next president in 2022.
"Anytime you are invited to preside over functions in Gusii region, you always find the time. I can assure you full support in 2022," Mose noted.
