Kariobangi Sharks has signed a partnership with Betway Company as their official sponsors.
Betway Company name and logo will now appear on the front Jessy of Kariobangi Sharks for a period of three years.
The Kariobangi Sharks chairman Mr Robert Maoga confirmed and express his joy as this will reduce their financial pressure.
"We have an agreement in principle with BetWay and the partnership will officially be announced soon. As a club, we are very glad as this will now ease some financial pressure off our backs," said Robert Maoga as quoted by Nation.
"BetWay is a company that has football at heart and this is key for us. They have sponsored other big clubs like West Ham in the English Premier League as well as other teams in the La Liga and across Africa and these are the sort of networks we wish to make use of. We also want to give them the value they deserve and grow together. We hope to extend this to become a long-term partnership," he added.
The Betway deal just comes when Kenya premier league clubs are struggling due to financial constraints with no grants from KPL after SportPesa sponsorship withdrew.
Kariobangi is now placed 15th in the 18 table league with 7 points after eight matches.
Muluya Boys will be looking forward to changing their poor performance on 21st this November when they will be playing against Ulinzi stars who placed at 5th position.
