Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has fired warnings about impending constitutional changes, arguing that Kenya must be changed before 2022.
Speaking on Friday, Ledama, who is eyeing Narok gubernatorial seat, said pastoralist communities should also come together and discuss the country's future.
"We must change Kenya - it’s now or Never - Pastoralist Pia Sisi Tujipange," said the first time lawmaker, a close ally of Raila Odinga
The pastoralist communities have been decrying marginalization for many years, a move that has seen Majority Leader Aden Duale join Constitutional changes debase.
There have been calls to amend the constitution, a debate which has split opinions among Kenyans and top politicians across the country.
President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga have been steering the calls to change the country's government set up through BBI report.
Realignments have started to take shape, with President Kenyatta on Friday meeting a host of Mt Kenya leaders at Sagana State Lodge.
For fair representation, Duale argues, Kenya should consider adopting a parliamentary system of government.
“It is time to end this tyranny of numbers where a few communities can come together and form a winning coalition.
"We must have a governance system where every community has an opportunity to lead this country,” said the Garissa Township MP.
