The detectives recovered the said amount from a cow shed in Lurambi, Kakamega County.

The police arrested one suspect in connection with the theft of the millions.  The suspect, who was later identified as Bernard Sewanga, is an employee of the G4S Company.

He had gone into hiding before he was arrested in Ruiru. Sewanga was arrested in a newly constructed house in Ruiru after he disappeared before he led the detectives to Kakamega where the money was found.

The DCI has since said the probe is still ongoing and more culprits will be brought to book as soon as possible.
