Writing on Facebook on Wednesday night, Dr Mutua said he was happy that the campaign was ongoing.

He hit out at Citizen TV management for allowing the show to continue airing, stating that they should be  ashamed of themselves for allowing content he described as 'obscene crap' to pass.

10 over 10 is an entertainment show hosted by journalist Willis Raburu; the show brings together musicians, dance groups and their fans.

"I am very happy to see the campaign against 10/10 Show-the obscene crap run by Willis Raburu on Citizen TV. Sometimes I wonder whether the owners of the station care about morality. Would they let their kids watch the discotheque on TV? Shame on the management and owners too!" Ezekiel Mutua wrote on Facebook.

Dr Mutua's seal of approval comes amid anger from a section of Kenyans who want the show taken off air.

Those waging the campaign contend that the show contributes to the corruption of morals among young people.

In spite of the immense disapproval from a section of social media users, the show still continues to be aired
