Renowned lawyer Donald Kipkorir has advised Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria to tell everything he knows about the death of former IEBC ICT boss Chris Msando and clear himself of any guilt or blame over the murder that shocked the whole country.
Moses Kuria has pledged to hold a press conference on Monday and address the murder, which he claimed some people have been linking him to.
"I am sick and tired about people connecting me to the murder of Chris Msando. I will address the media on Monday 20th January 2020 at 3pm about this whole issue," the MP posted on Facebook on Saturday.
But lawyer Kipkorir said the vocal legislator ought to be treated as a person of interest in Msando's murder since he was allegedly seen near his car on the night he disappeared, only to be found murdered a few hours later.
"In civilized criminal jurisdictions, Moses Kuria would be an ARGUIDO (Person of Interest) in the Death of Chris Msando. In Dead of the Night, when only Witches, Wizards & Nightrunners were out, Moses Kuria was standing by the car of Chris Msando, then dead but not yet public," he tweeted on Sunday.
The flamboyant lawyer said the Jubilee MP could be held to account over Msando's death in the future, and that is why it will be important to address the issue wholly during the presser.
"Tomorrow (Monday), we get to hear his explanation ... Buy what Moses Kuria should know is that in Kenya, there is no Effluxion of Time on Crime ... He better set the record straight and offers exculpatory explanation, or one day, he will be held to account," Kipkorir posted.
Msando was killed a few days to the August 8, 2017, general election and his body dumped at Muguga forest in Kikuyu, Kiambu county.
His body was found alongside that of Carol Ngumbu, who had just completed her studies at the Kenya Medical Training College, Karen campus.
