The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) is an agency mandated with collecting, safeguarding and disbursing retirement funds to employees whether in formal or informal sectors.

To become an NSSF member and contribute for the sake of your future, visit any NSSF branch in the country or Huduma centre with your National ID and Sh200 to facilitate the process.
You are now able to know your NSSF balance via the phone using these simple outlines;
1. Create a new message and send the word “NSSF” to 6773. You will then be prompted to follow the instructions provided.
2. Type NSSF< leave space> NSSF No < leave space> Date of Birth Full Names and send to 6773. This data will be used to view and ascertain that your details are correct.
3. Once your data is legit and you get validated, you will receive a PIN which you will use to access your NSSF account balance.
4. Type Bal, your new PIN and send to 6773
When this process is completed, you will be able to view your NSSF statement balance.
It is important to note that this is a one-time request for a PIN, but you can thereafter change the PIN to your preferred private number.
