EYM official George Kamano who spoke after presenting their views to Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) on Friday revealed that the law on graft if enacted will ensure corruption comes to an end.

"Kenyans are still complaining of corruption even after coming up with very many institutions to deal with the vice, it high time we changed our ways of dealing with graft in this country,” Kamano said as quoted by Standard.

The group further suggested that political parties that fail to win any seat on an election should be dissolved within three years so as to curb the cases of tribal-based.

"We do not need too many parties that end up dividing Kenyans along tribal lines instead of improving our democracy,” Kamano said.

Also in their proposals, the group suggested that parliamentary elections should be held at different times with the presidential candidates given opportunity to seek parliamentary seats.

The graft cases in Kenyan have risen and this has seen 'big' names being arrested and arraigned in court.

Ex-Finance Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich and his PS Kamau Thugge were recently arrested and charged over loss of lost of billions meant to build Arror and Kimwarer dams.
