The MCA for Magwagwa ward Fred Omayio has claimed that the handshake has facilitated the political killing of Deputy President William Ruto.
Omayio says, Ruto's chances to enter statehouse have become very minimal.
Speaking on Monday at an event at Esamba PAG church, the Jubilee MCA said that allowing ODM leader Raila Odinga to enter into the government through the handshake has facilitated to promote peace but at the same time kill DP Ruto politically.
"Indeed I support the handshake as it helped a lot to bring about peace and national integration, but this has helped to kill the political history of our DP because since then we have been experiencing some differences between President Uhuru and his DP Ruto majorly concerned with the BBI report implementation. We all know that Ruto and Raila can't sail together in the same boat. Am wondering about the future of DP Ruto," the MCA said.
He also pointed out that it has remained for the top leaders in Jubilee Party to sit together and share the ideas so that the support of Uhuru to Ruto to enter statehouse will be real.
"We as the Jubilee family, we will be very much eager come 2022 to see the support of Uhuru as they did promise each other before the 2013 general elections," Omayio noted.
