The inferno claimed the lives of two men and a one-year-old kid leaving four others with serious injuries. 

According to the preliminary reports, the fire broke out at 2 AM on Tuesday morning. 

The cause of the fire remains unknown although residents say the area suffered a power outage on Monday evening. A team of experts are, however, on the ground investigating the cause of the fire

According to the Nairobi Police boss Philip Ndolo, a report on the cause of the fire will be issued once investigations are complete.
