Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha on Wednesday released the 2019 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exam results.
A total of 699,745 candidates sat this year’s KCSE exam.
Speaking during the event, Prof Magoha said there was a general improvement in the performance of this year's candidates as compared to last year.
However, it has emerged that top five pupils of the 2015 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), who actually sat their KCSE exams this year did not manage to appear on the top list of top performers.
Here are top 5 KCPE performers in 2015, as reported by Citizen Digital, who are expected to have sat for their KCSE exams this year
1. Aggrey Akhanyinya, St Joseph Academy, Kakamega – 449
