Kisii County Deputy Governor Joash Maangi has revealed why he enjoys a good working relationship with his boss Governor James Ongwae.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party allied Deputy Governor maintained that he always consults his boss on matters leadership in the county and vice versa, something that has enabled them to work together in peace.
"Have you ever asked yourself why there is a good working relationship between me and governor James Ongwae? We always consult one another on matters leadership in the county. This has kept us moving well leading our people in Kisii county," Maangi revealed on Saturday when he spoke during church service at Bunyunyu SDA Church in West Mugirango, Nyamira County.
Maangi who is expected to vie for the gubernatorial seat in 2022 to succeed Governor Ongwae maintained that Kisii residents made a right choice electing Governor Ongwae in 2013 and 2017.
"Kisii residents are enjoying the fruits of devolution and good governance because they made a right choice in the ballot electing Ongwae and me as his deputy. I can confirm that we are committed to delivering as by the development promises we made during the campaigns in the last polls," Maangi said.
