The body was on Friday found dumped in a septic tank within his home in Kitisuru, bringing to an and the search that has been on for about two months.

Mr Cohen had gone missing between July 19 and 20, which has seen the blame land on his wife Sarah Kamotho, who remains in police custody.

After going missing, the wife had claimed that Mr Cohen, who was pursuing a divorce from her, had left for Thailand, only for his body to he found within his compound.

“He said he was taking a break. Lawyers were pushing him for money and he wanted to seek medical treatment," she had told the Nation.

The recovery of the body was confirmed by Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti, whose officers have been trying to pursue the mystery.

But initial details indicated that he had left his home on the last day he was seen, with workers at the premises claiming that he was driven away in a white vehicle by an unknown person.

Four says to his dissapearance, Cohen and former Gatundu North MP Kariuki Muiruri played a four ball golf game  at the Vet-Lab Sports Club.

However, his statement contradicts that of Ms Kamotho, that Cohen had been sick and also went to Thailand for medical attention, with the former MP saying that he didn't appear sick.

“He was not sickly – he was in perfect shape. He was a good friend of mine and we spent the entire day together," said Muiruri, who has known Cohen for 30 years.
