Deputy President William Ruto has insisted that he is a happy man.
Speaking during an interview with NTV on Thursday at his Karen Home in Nairobi , Ruto said that he sleeps soundly and enjoys his life like any other persons.
He affirmed that he is not under any form of pressure and he has never been bothered by several things in life.
He also said that he lives every moment as it comes, adding that life is too short for him to get stressed by anything that comes his way. He also said that he is trully blessed because he has enough wealth to take care of his family.
"I am a very happy man. I sleep very well. I sleep eight hours and for your information I am never bothered. I see many people worry about many things. I may not have all the things you have said. You know you have said many things about this and that but I am truly blessed from where I have come from to where I am today.
"I cannot complain. God has been kind to me. The people of Kenya have been more than fair to me. I have participated in five elections actually seven elections as a person I have ran in 1992. In 2002 although I never lost as a member of parliament, " he said
The second in command also alluded that he has never been pressured by anything in life. He insisted that very few things worry him as far as his private life is concerned.
" I have never found myself with pressure, I take everything as it comes, he added.
Ruto further exuded confidence that he is the right man to succeed President Kenyatta upon completion of his tenure in office.
