Nairobi Lawyer Donald Kipkorir has said that the widow of slain billionaire Tob Cohen, Sarah Wairimu does not deserve bail. In a tweet, Kipkorir said that Wairimu is seeking attention from the media.
He also said that he cannot conclude whether she killed the tycoon or not but added that she should somehow change.
"I don’t know if Sarah Wairimu murdered Tob Cohen & threw him to a septic tank, but I know she is engaging in a deliberate Media narrative .. She talks too much in public for a murder suspect .. She should never be admitted to Bail till full hearing & determination of the case," he tweeted.
Speaking at the Jewish Cemetery on Tuesday, Wairimu warned the killers of her husband that their days are numbered. She also promised to fight back until she gets justice from the court.
“I am not scared of anybody. One thing Tob taught me is not to take No for an answer. So even in this, I’m going to fight. And even as we stand here many of the ones who are responsible for Tob’s death are here in sheepskin… believe you me your days are also numbered,” said Wairimu.
The deceased's body was found in a septic tank 40 days after he went missing.
