There was drama at the Kibera Law Courts on Thursday morning when police brought in six suspects to be arraigned before the court.
The six were however dead drunk from alleged alcohol intoxication, thus unable to stand trial.
The pictures and videos of the suspects were aired by NTV.
"Suspects arrive at Kibera Law Courts allegedly too drunk to stand trial. The police officer in charge of Kibera courts rejected them and ordered the escorts to take them back to the station or hospital," read a tweet by NTV.
In the video, two police officers can be seen trying to get the suspects who were lying on the ground to stand up.
The drama attracted the attention of those who were at the court, as they come out to witness what was happening.
The incident elicited mixed reactions on social media, with a section of Kenyans making fun of the situation.
