Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Monday claimed that he will support President Uhuru Kenyatta's political decision in 2022.
While speaking on Monday at an Ukambani community consultative meeting at his Yatta farm, Kalonzo insisted that he would back President Uhuru on whoever he will endorse in the 2022 presidential election.
"That wherever my brother Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta will be in the next election cycle, I will be there. We will be together in all. There are those who are trying to move me away so that I can fall down. Do you want me to move away from that table?"
(Kwamba mahali ndugu yangu Uhuru Muiga Kenyatta atakua in the next election cycle, nitakua na yeye hapo. Tutakua zote pamoja and I will be there. Yaani kuna wengine wanajaribu Kalonzo atoke pale aanguke hapa chini. Manataka nitoke kwa hiyo meza?)" Kalonzo stated.
The wiper party leader also supported the introduction of a Prime Minister post which was highlighted in the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report.
Kalonzo further urged leaders of the Ukambani region to have a common and united stand ahead of the general election.
