Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Director of Communications Philip Etale has mocked former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale after he clashed with Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo.
Amollo on Tuesday morning scolded Khalwale during a live interview on NTV, after the vocal politician blamed the chaos that is at times witnessed in ODM on members of the Luo community.
In a tweet minutes later, Etale mocked Khalwale, pointing out that he met his match and was stopped in his tracks while trying to lie to Kenyans on live TV.
He further accused Khalwale of using public forums to make similar claims, adding that his attempt to do the same was thwarted this time round.
"Tangatanga hornbill @KBonimtetezi humbled by Counsel Dr @OAmollo when he tried to peddle lies live on TV as they are used to while in public forums. Alijikunja kama bata ambaye amevamiwa na mbweha (he coiled himself like a duck that has been attacked by a fox) Take a look," he wrote.
Khalwale has been attacking the ODM brigade following his move to decamp to the Jubilee Party from the Ford Kenya Party earlier in the year.
The former senator has been campaigning for Jubilee candidate in the Kibra by-election McDonald Mariga as he seeks to succeed the late Ken Okoth.
